proverbs 2:1-8

I read proverbs chapter 2 today. That really is an amazing chapter but, I would really like to focus on verses 1-8.

"My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; so that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; if thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous; he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints." (Proverbs 2:1-8)

I think these are excelent for anyone to take to heart, but esspecially for the student who is seeking to advance in the area of study. If students were to look to God for understanding, I believe God would help them to see and understand. I know that when I took a test, if I was in constant prayer to God, I was at peace and I was able to do better on the exam. BUt I do not believe this is only talking about school. I think it really is talking about understading the ways of God and his written word. Lets try to open up our minds to God more often and see where he takes us.

God Bless
